Ski resort Arosa Lenzerheide

With 225km of total slope length Arosa Lenzerheide has become one of the biggest ski areas in the Grisons Region. This sunny snow paradise offers countless kilometers of guaranteed snow and diverse slopes.

The numerous state-of-the-art lifts allow switching from one side of the valley to the other in no time, so you can enjoy the great variety of ski runs and experience glittering winter days between white forests, frozen lakes and the snowy landscapes.

Ski-kindergardens facilitate a great and fun start into the snow sports world.

While the smaller kids have fun at the kids kindergarden with funny characters and magic carpets at the Arosa JUNIOR Club, the bigger kids ride the pistes with our competent ski instructors. When booking a day lesson, lunch supervision incl. food will be charged separately.

Nordic Walking and Hiking

Whether you prefer rambling, hiking or Nordic walking, you can discover Arosa by foot on our beautifully prepared hiking trails. They will lead you through the busy winter sports area or into hidden side valleys.

Arosa has over 60 kilometres of prepared strolling and winter hiking trails that lead right through the lively winter sports area, to all the mountain huts and through snow-covered forests.

Cross-Country Skiing

Experience the snowy winter scenery of Arosa by skiing along our various cross-country trails. If you prefer the quieter and gentler version we suggest a hike with snow shoes.

Professionals and amateurs can enjoy the slopes alike and get in the right shape for the winter seasen. The Slopes are open daily, and on the weekends there will be a cross-county-shuttle bus.

Sledging

Arosa offers a total of 4.5 kilometres of sledge trails, including the popular run from Prätschli to the village, which is illuminated after dark. The free bus brings you right back to the start

A very special sledging experience is Night Sledging. Every Tuesday and Thursday evening.

Horse drawn sleigh rides in Arosa

Phantastic horse-drawn carriage rides through the breathtaking landscape.

Horse drawn sleighs are busy all over Arosa, on-mountain as well as off-mountain and the drivers, horses and sleighs congregate like taxis by the station.

Public ice skating

From mid-November to mid-April you can venture onto the ice at our outdoor rink at Obersee lake or in the ice sports hall. Professional skating instructors are available upon request.

Ice skates rental costs CHF 6.00 per person. Please check the ice practice timings at the ice sports hall and the Arosa Tourism Office. Depending on training camps the schedule may vary.

A paradise for our youngest guests in Arosa

Indoor Playground Bärenhöhle

The indoor playground Bärenhöhle offers a lot of fun for the whole family especially in bad weather conditions. There is a ball pit, a tower to climb with a big slide, a bouncy castle, bobby cars, other vehicles and a lot more to have fun with. While the kids are playing parents and chaperons can enjoy a snack in the cafeteria on the gallery.

A Fun Ride with a Kick Scooter

Trottinett/Kick Scooter

Hire a kick scooter, take it with you in the gondola to the Weisshorn middle station and enjoy a fun ride back to the village via the Arlenwald trail.

Kick scooters can be hired at the Arosa Tourism Office (entrance ice rink) during the following opening hours: Monday-Sunday: 8.30am-5.00pm

Curve lying and feeling the weightlessness: On the longest toboggan run in Switzerland you can experience pure tobogganing fun!

Speed down the 3.1 km long toboggan run and feel the wind in your face.

The speed is regulated by a brake lever.

The new outdoor fun thing to do in Arosa

Minigolf ChippinGolf

Are you familiar with Mini Golf? Imagine Mini Golf outside in nature amidst hiking trails and meadows, instead of the nicely prepared lanes. Now, that is ChippinGolf!

The rules are simple and the game is made for families. The goal is to reach the selected sign boards (target mark/flag) with as little strokes as possible.

Squirrel Path

On the well-known Squirrel Path, your children can not only feed the cute little animals but also solve a riddle on the information panels. The path begins near the hotel BelArosa at the crossing on Tomeli Strasse (in front of the Waldhotel National) and ends at the Maran bus stop.

It's fun for everyone - not just the little ones! The story is also available as a picture book for CHF 13.00
